Welcome to the Texas Board of Nursing

Application Forms - Endorsement

The Texas Board of Nursing will be launching the new completely online Texas Nurse Portal on June 15, 2020. In order to accomplish this task, the Texas BON will cease accepting paper licensure applications on May 29, 2020. Paper applications received before this cutoff date will be processed by June 5, 2020. The current Texas.gov online system will continue to allow citizens to apply for a new license and renew their license until June 4, 2020. At 6 p.m. June 4, 2020, the BON system will be taken down to allow the data transfer from the previous system to the new system. Due to the large amount of data being transferred and to allow for additional testing, the new system will not be up and running until Monday, June 15, 2020.
